General Conditions

• Payment policy:

  1) Deposit of 50% of the total booking value at the time of your booking request. Your booking is confirmed only after this payment. A link to an online secure payment system will be sent to you by e-mail.
  2) The last 50% should be paid in cash upon arrival to your host.
  
  
  

  Notes:

  a. Payment is done mostly through PayPal (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or bank transfer). You don’t need a PayPal account to pay by credit card (depending on the limit of your card), but for bank transfer it is necessary indeed.

  b. Payments by credit card are also possible, but we will need in this case the following documents from the card holder (to be sent by fax to us):

              - Copy of the credit card (both sides);

              - Copy of passport;

              - Authorization form (document to be sent by e-mail).

  c. If the booking is made through a company based in Brazil, details of the company are required. We will send in this case an invoice by e-mail.

  d. Your booking confirmation with directions, instructions of how to get your keys and parking info will be sent as soon as the payment of the deposit is confirmed.
  
  e. For long stays (more than 3 months) a different payment policy applies; please contact us for more information.

• Cancellation policy:

  1) From booking date to 8 days prior the check-in date: 50% of total booking value as cancellation fee.
  2) Within the final 7 days or no-show: 100% of total booking value as cancellation fee.

  Notes:

  a. Please make sure you have, just in case, adequate travel insurance.
  
  b. For long stays (more than 3 months) a different cancellation policy applies; please contact us for more information.

• Security deposit for damages:

  Some accommodations, not all, require a refundable security deposit for damages in the properties, which should be paid in cash on arrival. This money will be refunded on departure, if no damages were verified. The values are found on the rates tabs of the respective accommodations.
  For longer bookings (2 or more months), this security deposit may be of 1 or 2 months, depending on the property and the length of your stay. Please check it with us before you confirm your reservation.

  Apartments Unlimited is just the booking agency - a mediator between the guests and the owners of the properties – and is not responsible in any circumstance for any problems between those parties. Therefore, also not responsible for whatever happens in the accommodations, any accidents of damages.
